With the new VLC player app available now for the IPAD, you can play all your media content on it. It can be anything from an AVI to an MKV fle format, giving you the freedom to watch all your download stuff, yes even the illegal ones. The iPad supported the quicktime format (.MOV) till now, until the vlc app came into the picture recuing all the .XVID and .DIVX files.
