Both are different platform & agreement though it's redirecting Hotstar only so if they remove loss for them(Hotstar) only

In digital world things are bit different. Customer don't hv to buy new phone. So if star chs gets disconnected then it's a loss for Airtel only as people will switch to other apps

I think they will not remove star channels from app as adtv have separate deals with broadcasters.

Currently star is pushing both tv and digital combined. Just look at ipl ad slot selling. Star sold ad slot as a combined to advertisers.

So i am not sure how deal is done. But most probably digital is a separate deal as it was done few months ago. But if they remove then Jio will have huge firepower in their hands to counter airtel
