OTF Exclusive Airtel Wi-Fi new Rs. 1199 plan with 100 Mbps speed and Netflix subscription

Airtel Wi-Fi launching new Rs. 1199 Black plan for Fiber/AirFiber with 100 Mbps speed w.e.f. 16th April 2025. It includes Netflix and all other OTT subscriptions along with Rs. 350 worth TV channels.

The new Airtel Wi-Fi ladder doesn't have any mention of the existing Rs. 1099 plan that used to provide 200 Mbps speed and didn't include Netflix. So probably this plan will be discontinued in the coming days.

Now we know why Airtel had made some changes last month to this 200 Mbps plan and silently reverted back. They were preparing for this change.

Yes, looks like that. Straight jump from 100 Mbps to 300 Mbps now.

On the contrary, JioFiber at least having a 150 Mbps (Rs. 999) plan in between to compensate.

Airtel's updated wifi pamphlets don't list the 200 Mbps plan now as shared in the first post.

But I think existing postpaid customers will continue to get that plan unless they downgrade or upgrade it.

I am on Airtel Rs. 1099 (200 Mbps) plan currently and the Rs. 1199 (100 Mbps) plan shows above it on the Airtel Thanks app.

Forum members having other plans can check whether it shows both 1099 & 1199 plans or only the new 1199 plan for them.

I am also using 200mbps plan, it gives perfect balance of speed and OTT. They should keep a 200mbps plan as well. Itseems airtel is rooting for a tarrif hike in broadband sector.

Off topic: Because of airtel every time, other operators also follow its path for tariff hike . I hope Jio doesn't alter its ₹999 plan.
