Copying Jio is not a good way to go. Airtel should innovate and attract postpaid customers in order to stay afloat. Vi has given contract to same company for 80000 4G sites expansion as that of BSNL has awarded. It will bring changes to Vi revenue soon and these sites are in top priority circles. Meaning Vi postpaid game is back. Jio 4G unlimited plan is gone meaning mostly people will come back on Vi or Airtel depending on network. Airtel 4G network is great, but Vi won't be as bad as it used to be three years back. Competition to attract postpaid customers will be immense.

Vi now follows only in tariffs. Unlimited and double data were innovation from Vi. It's just extra addition of sites with band 41 will be huge return of investments for Vi.
