NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel has launched new broadband plans, with a high-speed of up to 2 mbps download in its top 10 cities.

The cities are Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.

Also, for the other markets, the company has launched 1 mbps plans.

The company clarified that these plans come with enhanced usage limits. Airtel broadband customers can select plans that suit their high speed data usage needs starting from 3 – 150 GB.

Additionally, in select markets, customers can double their speeds to 4 mbps for Rs 100 more. The 4 mbps plans start at Rs 1099.

Bharti Airtel CMO telemedia services Girish Mehta said, “Bharti Airtel has always taken the lead in continually bringing in richer experience and higher speeds for customers. Over the past several months we have been continually adding to our broadband service portfolio. Raising the broadband speed threshold with the new broadband plans will help enhance uptake of the array of content and rich media experience on Airtel broadband.”
