All you people out there in Hydrabad, who have heavy data usage needs, here is something you would find interesting. Airtel has launched VDSL (Very-high-speed digital subscriber line) broadband plans, which offers data speeds of 40 Mbps.

Airtel already offers 16Mbps DSL broadband service in the city, which is pretty fast. however, 40 Mbps will definitely be a game changer. No other service provider offers such speeds in the city, currently. Given that, there is so much competition in the market, the new plans should give the telecom operator an added advantage.

Airtel is currently offering two monthly plans under the VDSL 40MBPs line. These include:

Ultrasonic 3999 plan priced at Rs 3,999, which offers 200GB of data usage along with 2000 minutes of calling,

Ultrasonic 3299 plan priced at Rs 3,299, which offers 100GB of data usage along with 1000 minutes of calling.

Once the data usage exceeds the monthly data cap, the speed will be set to 512 Kbps.

Customers going for the new 40 Mbps plans will need to purchase Beetel VDSL Wi-Fi modem which is priced at Rs. 3,099.

Airtel will be offering free Value Added Services along with the Data Packages including Parallel Ringing, PC Secure Anti-Virus software, unlimited gaming through Games on Demand, LearnNext - the smartest way to learn maths and science and more.
