What if they go with Ericsson only and update RAN. It is not feasible for nokia circle but in case of samsung only 2 circles are there

It's not that simple. To do what you're expecting they have to build 5G network from scratch again by removing all the existing Nokia/Samsung equipment

I have heard Jio used Samsung for 5G as well to negotiate with Ericsson in two or three circles.
