Seeking Help Airtel Black (FTTH + IPTV) unbundling related queries

Hi guys

If someone has paid Rs 2500 (₹699) for a new Airtel Black (FTTH + IPTV) and then if IPTV installation is not feasible or if he doesn’t want to continue with IPTV, can the person switch back to only ₹499 plan ???

What happens to the advance paid, will it get adjusted to the new plan ? And will they take away the STB
 
I change the pack to check but I think I am getting better benefit in airtel Black plan so I have switch back to it. And as per conversation with airtel cc they say even u select lower back you will be bill Rs699 as per Black plan so once I finish 3 month I will remove Black plan and seprate the connection then I will select normal plan as per need

Yes. I have switched to normal plan (Rs.499/-) from black plan(Rs.699/-) in Feb, they collected the xstream box in a week time as it was provided as free when i have upgraded to black plan earlier, but opting out of black plan is tough.

I mean to say for IPTV. Will it be converted to prepaid like DTH or will they take back the box upon cancellation of black ?

Why is it tough to change from black ? Can’t it be done via app or from store ?

Will try and let u know Abt IPTV but my two hd STB I haven't recharged for last two year and they haven't taken back.

I'm opting out at store, I think standalone iptv is not feasible as they provides benefit(Rs.350/-) from monthly fiber rent of Rs.499+Rs.200 charged for OTTs against paying Rs.200/-+ to DTH for a few a la carte channels with increased NCF now.

I think Iptv box not possible converted to prepaid u can confirm with relationship manager, BTW in airtel iptv not update in their system, that's why getting showing as dth, Once Airtel team updated, may be separate options added for this service, like dth, Fiber,postpaid simcard

For black cancellation I think in app, it's possible, if getting error means contact through this email [email protected], relationship manager will contact u
 
In their system it’s showing as only DTH and not IPTV.

CC says u can’t drop IPTV once it’s taken with black connection and you have to cancel the entire connection and opt for new one if you only want Fiber.

What stupid rules

It's may possible bro, try in airtel thanks app,if not available/getting error, contact relationship manager or airtel twitter team,

Most of cc don't know this, also they just to try to sell new connection

For me daily received above 5 calls, one cc asked shifting request, another cc asked installation, deactivation, etc, only relationship manager only understand 😴

BTW if u know any sale team person, contact them, for sale team also have bundle and unbundle options available
