I ain't no aviation expert but this is outright impossible to do so. The media claims that one pilot did all the sabotage but to achieve this (Keep in mind, turning off fuel switch is a hard job, atleast 4-5 seconds are needed to do so), both the pilots have to simultaneously do it and with full force.

While in the cockpit VR, it was found that one pilot asked his co pilot why did he turned off the fuel, to which the co pilot replied he didn't do so....
