AEW's Double or Nothing

Very good PPV and a great show considering this was their first event. Best match by far was the Tag team match between the young bucks and lucha brothers. The main event was great but the finishing was meh but still Moxley's appearance made up for it and ended the PPV with a bang. After a very very long time i saw an extremely bloody match between the Rhodes brothers. The blood definitely helped a lot in this match and made it more emotional. Cody played his role extremely well and was cocky the entire match. The ending in this match made me almost cry when Cody said he needed his brother to face young bucks in the next ppv.

I give the show an 8 out of 10. Also the World Title belt didn't have a great design. It's just mediocre imo. Looks way too old school and unappealing in 2019. Overall the show gave me vibes of WWE when it was really great. Sad that WWE will never come close to this and i wish AEW good luck in their next event. Will follow them closely!

TV will ruin AEW. If they continue PPV and online model. They sure will be successful. And they need to improve production. Graphics card can't be read properly even in full HD quality. Coming to matches of the PPV. Women's tag team match was surprisingly awesome. They were clearly mocking WM's finish. Cody destroying Triple H's throne was also gold. I cried after his match with his brother. I also think Young Bucks vs Lucha Brothers match was best match of the night. But I was disappointed of them putting the battle royal in pre-show. Jericho's win proved that they are heading towards WWE style booking.

They need star power and Y2J is a star. TV will be fine as long as it's rated TV14 at least. They can still do a lot of stuff. I agree with the production needing improvement. Glad they used Pyro at least once. I think Blood and Pyro are quintessential in PPV's at least. I actually thought AEW would be all hype with just 1-2 good matches. But it blew me away. I just wish Mauro Ranallo would join their announce team. JR is great but there's still something missing in him ever since his wife died.
