Acer introduced two new smartphones in India under its ‘Liquid’ series dubbed Liquid Z530 and the Liquid Z630s at a price of Rs 6,999 and Rs 10,999 respectively. Both devices are exclusive to Flipkart. While the Acer Liquid Z530 will go on sale starting midnight, the Liquid Z630s will be available in a flash sale on November 12. With the launch of these smartphones, Acer joins the ‘Make-in-India’ club with both smartphones set to be manufactured at their facility in Pondicherry.
In terms of specifications, the Liquid Z530 features a 5-inch IPS OGS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor paired with 2GB RAM. The device includes an internal storage of 16GB and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone comes equipped with an 8MP rear and front facing cameras. In terms of connectivity, the handset includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, bluetooth, and micro-USB connectivity. A 2420mAh battery completes the package.
The other selfie-focused smartphone, Liquid Z630s, features a 5.5-inch HD IPS OGS display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and comes with the company’s Zero Air Gap screen. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 3GB RAM.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with Liquid UI on top, the device will include an internal storage of 32GB along with a microSD card. The front camera once again features a wide-angle lens and supports 1080p video recording along with a 8MP rear and front cameras. It terms of connectivity, the device includes 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. A 4000mAh battery completes the package.
