Internet is fast becoming as essential as oxygen in India. Thanks largely to the record low cost of access to Internet, whether it's broadband or cellular 3G/4G. we took landline phone in 2000 which is still in my family. We took bsnl broadband in 2010(1GB per month for 100/-) & then (plan -550/- unltd with 70% discount on overall bill) and left the broadband in 2014.

Was told My family took telephone connection in the year 1988 still using the same connection but number has changed many times (it was 5 or 6 digit number). Took first internet connection from NetCraker Wipor in the year 1999 then moved to VSNL in 2003. Then got Data One broadband connection from BSNL in 2007. Was using VSNL till 2010 for their Email service (@vsnl.net).
