Now in airtel xstream fiber you can't fully customize wifi name (ssid) of the router from the airtel thanks app. A initial 'Airtel' name is now present by default. For full wifi name customization you have to login 192.168.1.1 admin page and then you can change the wifi name from there for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz separately.
I think Airtel make this new change due to let your neighbors know that you are using airtel broadband connection 😅, or to let people know how many airtel connection are in surroundings by advertising from you own wifi ssid.

Yes bro, I also used same method from 3 months 😉,but when raised complaint they told sir, don't change name in configuration page, use our app wifi ssid for better connectivity 😅

Had the same issue but I logged in on the router page and changed the full name from there itself.
