My JioFiber(JCOW404) got its firmware updated to 3.7 and both bands merged, which shouldnt be that big of a problem, but I have been having speed issue since. I have a 150mbps pack but am barely receiving 60 on a good day. Have also contacted jio CS long back, some say router problem, some say backend problem and most of them cant figure out the issue even after a technician visited. Anyone else facing similar issue?

Atp thinking to just change Service provider, this is turning into a hassle.

I am currently using model JC0W404 WITH FIRMWARE VERSION 3.10 when I get updated to this version my 2.4 and 5 ghz band has been combined and in my jio app 2 SSID with same name and off 2.4 gigahertz are showing there is no 5 ghzSSID and in Jio Home my device is showing offline and when I reset my device and connect to my phone then Wi-Fi doesn't get reset to its default name if anyone fishing this issue Please reply

In Tamil Nadu Thiruppuvanam Sivaganga district last week olt and onu firmware upgraded..... Due to this upgradation as a LCO distributor faces somany problem in Youtube ,Netflix,Prime,Sony liv ..... After that they fix all issues call connected THD

Hey would you able to help me find a lower firmware for my Jiofiber JCOW404 router, something lower than R3.7 as 3.7 introduced combining both the 2.4 and 5 bands into one single AP. Could you also tell me if its okay to downgrade the firmware?

After going through this thread I see the big shot ISPs got bossy lately and putting in rigorous device controls taking the reins in their own hands.

My suggestion is however these ISP routers are garbage buy yourself a decent WiFi 6 router (if you can extend budget go for 160mhz bandwidth model) which will solve all the problems put it on bridge mode and enjoy WiFi 6 router. If ISPs changed multiple times also no problem own router will be there always.
