No 3G plans are cheap, and if you compare with Int standard it is not fast also and last of all forget reliability as our telecom operators cannot even provide reliable 2G voice connection so don't expect too much for 3, 4 or 5G
:no:no
Don't go by numbers as US citizen has higher income compared to Indian.
So Compare what percent of income an average citizen pay toward US telecom operator and check it with an Indian citizen you will see indians pay higher than anywhere in the world :wall
According to World bank Average US citizen income $54630 per year=$4552 per month and average Indian income $1630 per year = $136 per month
Now choose 10 GB plan per month from an Indian and US operator. Aircel 3G 10 GB costs Rs 997 = $15 and AT&T give 10 GB @ $150.
So Indians pay 11% of their income to Aircel where as in USA people pay AT&T just 3% of their income for the same 10GB pack. Now judge who is paying more
