Kolhapur, Jul 29 : A 35-year-old man who was being treated at the civil hospital here for his failed bid to commit suicide by consuming poison, today allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the building.
The deceased, identified as Sanjay Laxman Kamble from Kolvan village in Bhudargad tehsil of this district, was debt ridden and had attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison at his village on July 24 and he was admitted to Chhatrpati Pramila Raje civil hospital here since then, police said.
Police suspect that he might be frustrated with himself due to lack of money to get various medical tests done and that could have drove him to take this drastic step.
