Pan India Telecom Spectrum holding chart

Telecom spectrum holding data sheet 2020 by Esmail @ OnlyTech

The spectrum holding data sheet embedded in the article represents the current spectrum holdings of all active telecom operators across all frequency bands across all 22 telecom circles along with their liberalisation status and expiry dates (Spectrum is allotted for a period of 20 years). All figures represented are in MHz. We update this chart in realtime to ensure it is always up to date with the latest changes.

Have updated the spectrum holding for Vodafone Idea after the recent disclosure in the Q4 report. Liberalisation status for 900 and 1800 MHz holdings updated. 1800 MHz spectrum bought in 2012 auction in a block size of 1.25 MHz has been rounded up to the next higher number divisible by a 0.2 MHz block size so as to keep uniformity with the block size followed in all subsequent auctions for this band.

4G LTE and 5G NR band details with frequency range and bandwidth used by Indian Telecom details added in tabular form.

Oh! I didn't saw the article. I was going by the screenshot on the thread.

The image is just for the representational purpose here and out of date. Spectrum Sheet is updated regularly with new and existing updates as and when it drops in, so you may refer to that in the future.

Updated the colour scheme of the chart such that now one colour represents the same Expiry year and liberalisation status across all the frequency bands in the chart.

Spectrum validity of BSNL 900 MHz and 1800 MHz bands extended to 2040 and updated to liberalised. BSNL got license renewal Pan India including new circles of Mumbai and Delhi. Chart updated accordingly.

Spectrum expiring in 2021 has been removed from the chart to make room for spectrum won in the auction next month. Yellow colour will now represent spectrum with validity up to 2041.
Also Sub GHz and total spectrum holding of private operators and circle wise spectrum caps added to the article.
