New Delhi: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament met on Tuesday for the first time after the furore over the 2G spectrum scam report. UPA members in the PAC once again did not allow chairman Murli Manohar Joshi to table the report. The members have been alleging the report was made without consulting them. The meeting was expected to be stormy. The 2G scam report had earlier been returned by Speaker Meira Kumar, and had not been adopted or passed by members of the outgoing PAC. The PAC has been divided sharply along party lines. The Congress party members in the new PAC have stated that they will not allow the reconstituted panel to take up the probe since the Joint Parliamentary Committee or JPC is already doing so.New Delhi: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of Parliament met on Tuesday for the first time after the furore over the 2G spectrum scam report.
