My car is completing 6 years this month and have not seen any such thing.

Fastag is working fine, tried checking the details but don't see anything which days validity

i ask same question at Park+ CC.

I too got a message last year that your car has passed through xyz toll plaza when my car was chilling at home. Complained to airtel payments bank (my fastag) and my money got refunded within 15 working days!

Sometimes your family members took the car with them to chilling outside alone. Fast tags linked with bank account without user access to pin, it can't be deducted any money.

Same with me. When I used paytm I complained national highway authority and paytm . I sent photo my car . My money returned . I complatined SP but no response from police .

According to NPCI’s circular dated January 28, 2025, FASTag transactions will now be validated based on a specific time window relative to when the tag is read at a toll plaza. The new rule introduces two key timeframes:

1. 60 minutes before the FASTag is scanned – If a FASTag has been blacklisted, placed on a hotlist, or marked as low balance for more than an hour before reaching the toll booth, the transaction will be declined.

2. 10 minutes after the FASTag is scanned – If the tag remains blacklisted or in an inactive state within this 10-minute period after being scanned, the transaction will also be rejected.

If a FASTag meets both of these conditions, the system will decline the transaction with error code 176, and the vehicle will be charged twice the toll fee as a penalty.

After this new rule can we still buy new fastag at toll plaza & instantly use it at toll as before or not.
