Jio is the dominating one and Alliance has survived and improved over all of them.
Less than 1000 for 400Mbps per month is itself great deal. I don't know when rest of the regional players will provide this. ACT/Excitel/Ethernet/Asianet needs to up their game, even though their FTTH is unbeatable. 1Gbps for 3999 is crazy wild tariffs. Monopoly is bad and needs to be controlled by users.

I feel like switching to Alliance now :surprised::surprised: the lco guy even promised to waive off the installation. There is something he talked about like competition buyback policy, felt relating to hoard customer here since other ISPs are charging premium. Hathway is good, but this deal is lucrative.

Ngl Alliance was the de facto ISP in kolkata and adjoining areas, provided decent speedy network but somewhere down the line they became greedy and wasn't updating their equipments. But now man I am witnessing huge efforts to show a comeback.

Update: Kolkata only Alliance Broadband Internet along with IPTV plans launched as well in partnership with PanMetro Cable. These plans can be availed ONLY via LCO. IPTV Plans are as follows:

Jio's kick made them work for the better service. Jio has garnered a good amount of subscribers almost everywhere but their downfall will be because of their Air Fiber push. Alliance in the meantime has solidified their Fiber push and with the help of decent plans they are well positioned to recover lost ground to some extent.
Service quality I can't say for everyone as it is still very much LCO dependent but network quality wise it is the best that is available now.

True that Jio and its likes are now pushing air-fiber on customer face and have stopped PREPAID fiber so no matter what they will start losing some ground now , also the regional ISP should have mended their work long back but ig since there was no alpha so they became lethargic and now after getting butkicked many have sprung into action so much so that they gotta sell their soul in these deals to attract customer base. Thankgod atleast they are working now.
