If Megapixel is everything then Canon/Nikon will go Bankrupt. Fed-up of those Megapixel gimmick.

Even if it were a quad pixel arrangement, 100/4=25MP is a big thing

Those 48 mp camera is no use for photography...just a camera and more mb storage as i feel ..its a craze only...there is nothing in the setting for 48 mp in redmi note7 pro..no zoom,no macro and nothing..also if we try to take pic from closeup then pic gets blurred...48,64,100 r just gimmick to attract buyers..

Exactly.... Even in other rear mobile camera we cant zoom much ...if i zoom note7pro AI camera then no clear picture...still better to have it rather than 48 mp ....for longshot or zoom any objects then these cannon or nikon type cameras..

If utilised properly, 48MP photos will have precision and accuracy. But yeah till now Xiaomi attempts are a gimmick

There r some limitations in mobile handsets for camera...those cant be compared to pro cameras likes of nikon or any other brands... Although mobile user has to get some features for these 48 or heigher sensors...yeah as u said in other post it wouldbe great if 24MP ×2 cameras...
BTW what about 48 MP camera in other brands? I think Realme have 1...any feedbacks?

See currently Xiaomi uses 48/4=12MP for its camera, which does produce nice results. That means even if camera mp is 48, image comes at 12 with crisp clarity. Similarly I was telling 100/4=25MP effectively
