ZTE has expanded its smartphone series and announced three new smartphones, the ZTE Blade Q, ZTE Blade Q Mini and ZTE Blade Q Maxi under company's Blade Q range. The three Blade Q series smartphones have been launched in Europe and the company is yet to reveal prices. There is also no word on the release and availability of the Blade Q, Blade Q Mini and Blade Q Maxi smartphones in India.
All the three ZTE Blade Q smartphones run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, are powered by a dual-core 1.3GHz MediaTek processor along with 1GB of RAM, and sport dual cameras, a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The ZTE Blade Q series smartphones, the Blade Q, Blade Q Mini and Blade Q Maxi, all come preloaded with apps like Evernote and Dropbox.

The ZTE Blade Q features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854) IPS display. There is 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It packs an 1800mAh battery and measures 135x67x9.5mm. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and 3G.

The ZTE Blade Q Mini measures 125.5x63.9x8.9mm and features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800) IPS display. Much like the ZTE Blade Q, the Blade Q Mini also comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The smartphone packs 1500mAh battery and comes with connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS/AGPS.

The ZTE Blade Q Maxi features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854) IPS display and comes with dimensions 143x72x9.1mm. It packs a 2000mAh battery and includes 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS and 3G.

Commenting on the launch, AO Wen, General Manager, ZTE handset European operation office, said, "At ZTE we believe that smartphone technology should be accessible for everyone. The popularity of the Blade series across Europe proves that there is real consumer appetite for high performance smartphones at a great price. The features available across the Blade handsets redefine 'value for money' in the smartphone market, and we're confident that the ZTE Blade Q range will continue to grow ZTE's position in Europe."
