Zopo Mobile , which entered the Indian market in August last year, will launch its new smartphone, Speed 8, on July 20. The company is touting the Speed 8 as the world’s first smartphone with deca-core processor. The Zopo Speed 8 comes with MediaTek’s flagship Helio X20 deca-core processor.
Zopo Speed 8 specifications
The Zopo Speed 8 features a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by MediaTek Helio X20 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It comes with 32GB of internal storage.
The smartphone sports a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, PDA and Sony IMX230 sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front facing camera with LED flash.
Zopo Speed 8 features
The Zopo Speed 8 comes with dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and USB Type-C for fast charge. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the back. The smartphone is powered by a 3,600 mAh battery.
Zopo Speed 8 price and availability
The smartphone is available outside of India for about $300, which is approximately Rs 20,000. Interestingly, the Zopo Speed is already available in India via Amazon India for Rs 31,500. But we expect the company to officially launch the smartphone at a much lower price.
