NEW DELHI: Homegrown handset maker Zen Mobile will invest Rs 140 crore in product development and marketing initiatives during the current fiscal and sharpen its fourth-generation (4G) handset portfolio with an aim to strengthen telco partnerships.
“In FY 17-18, we will be spending close to Rs 100 crore in product research and development and another Rs 40 crore in marketing with an aim to offer technologically-advanced VoLTE (Voice over Long-Term Evolution) products at most affordable price to Indian consumers,” Zen Mobile chief executive Sanjay Kalirona told ET.
