The subsidiary of Micromax Informatics that has sold more than 2 million phones in a year, also launched the second version of services platform Around Yu, which will have doctors, food, travel and a mobile wallet called Yu Wallet.
The doctor facility on Around Yu will allow users to consult doctors via video calls or through chat.
The wallet is backed by Udio, owned by Transerv, which has also enabled the wallet for Micromax smartphones. This is the first phone which has a native mobile wallet.
The wallet has partnered with Paytm, and other wallets through which payments for services on Around Yu can be done, without downloading any apps.
The phone has a scratch free back, with an alloy of aluminum, magnesium and manganese.
The 5.5 inch display phone has a 4GB RAM phone and a 4000 mAh battery that can support four days use. The first flash sale
The company has also partnered with Mi media for unlimited storage through social cloud. Some customers will get Rs 400 over four months in the wallet, and 10% off through SBI cards. Customers will also get first consultation free on doctor consultancy app Lybrate and 30% off on subsequent consultations.
