Micromax 's Cyanogen-only brand YU is soon going to import a new 4G-enabled smartphone Yu 5200 in India. According to import tracking website Zauba, the smartphone features a 5.2-inch screen, 4G and dual-sim support. The listing also reveals that the Yu 5200 smartphone has been imported to India at Rs 9,036, and should therefore be a mid-range or a budget smartphone.
Some more details of the handset emerged on GFX Bench listing. The listing suggests that the Yu 5200 smartphone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1.1 and sports a 12MP rear camera and a 4.8MP front camera. Other alleged specs include full-HD display with 1920x1080 resolution, a 1.6GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 3GB RAM (of which 2.8GB will be available) and 16GB internal storage (of which 11GB will be available). In terms of connectivity, the listing suggests that the device offers 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Looking at the specs and price, the smartphone will give a tough competition to LeEco's Le 1S and Xiaomi's Redmi Note 3 smartphones.
