Google has updated its YouTube for Android app with the Autoplay feature. Already available on desktop version, the Auto Play plays the next video once you have finished watching the current video. In simpler words, if the Autoplay is enabled, the next top related song, scene, documentary, or whatever related to what you are watching will be played by YouTube automatically.

While many like the new Autoplay feature, but it may also be annoying at times as you would expect the video to stop after you have watched it. For mobile users, it’s an unnecessary load on the data. So if you want to don’t want this feature, you can always disable it.

Here’s how to disable Autoplay feature on YouTube for Android:

Step One : First make sure that you have updated to the latest version of the YouTube for Android app.

Step Two : Open the app and play any video. Now on the right side below the video, there is the Autoplay option next to a blue icon. Just switch it off. This way you can turn off the Autoplay for that particular video.

Step Three : For turning off the Autoplay completely, go to Settings in the YouTube app. Tap on General > turn off Autoplay.
