Pakistan's veteran batsman Younis Khan, has said that he would be willing to prolong his Test career should the team need him.

The 39-year-old had earlier announced that he will bid adieu to international cricket after the
ongoing three-match Test series against West Indies. However, he said he's open to reconsidering his decision if the team requests him.

My decision to retire is final: Younis Khan

Younis Khan , the Pakistan batsman, has once again clearly stated that his decision to retire from at the conclusion of the Test series in West Indies is final. There were a few speculations that Younis might take back his decision to retire following his recent comments on Cricket Australia's website, but Geo News posted a video clip of the batsman reiterating his decision to retire on Sunday (April 23).

"There is a lot of speculation that perhaps I am taking back my decision to retire from Test cricket. There is no truth to this," Younis said in the video. "My decision to retire from Test cricket is final. I will not take back my retirement even if I score a century in every innings during the West Indies series ."
