Xolo has added yet another Q-series smartphone to its line-up. This time around it’s the Q1100, which is listed on the official website with a price of Rs. 14,999. However, there is no word on the availability of the latest Xolo smartphone.
Seemingly a rival to the Moto G, the Xolo Q1100 runs Android 4.3 out-of-the-box and also features a 720p display. With a similar price tag to the Moto G, the Q11o0 is also powered by the Snapdragon 400 SoC (MSM8228, unlike the G’s MSM8226) and its four cores are clocked at 1.4GHz, so it has slightly more oomph than the Motorola phone. In addition, there’s 1GB of RAM and an Adreno 305 GPU. Just like the Moto G, the Xolo Q1100 offers dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support.
The biggest difference between the Moto G and the Q1100 is the 5-inch HD IPS display with OGS and 720p resolution, translating to a pixel density of 294ppi. Another aspect where the Q1010 seemingly has the upper hand is the camera with its 8-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and BSI 2 sensor, and the 2-megapixel front camera. The Q1100 also gets expandable storage to increase the 8GB of internal storage.
In addition, you will find support for all the standard smartphone connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, AGPS, EDGE, and 3G. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery, which according to the company can deliver 24 hours of talk time and 600 hours of standby time on 2G network.
