Xiaomi India is leaving no stone
unturned to promote the 'Global Mi Phon
Premiere' on April 23, which is expected
to see the launch of either a new Mi
smartphone - the Xiaomi Mi 4i - or glob
launches of the smartphones launched
only in China - the Mi Note and Mi Note
Pro.
Sharing an image on Facebook, Xiaomi
India has tipped the high display
resolution of the upcoming device. The
image shows two same paintings with
the left displaying a blurred, pixelated
view, while the right shows a clearer vie
tipping that the device might feature an
impressive pixel density.

same size the same?" The Facebook po
is accompanied by hashtags for 'Mi
Launch 2015' and 'i Disagree'. The
company also also be tipping the global
launch of its Mi Note handsets, which so
far have only been launched in China.
The Mi Note Pro features a QHD
(1440x2560 pixel) display, the first from
the company.
The Chinese company as promised earlie
is also distributing tickets to its even in
New Delhi next week to Mi fans in the
country. The Facebook post of Mi India
asks interested users to share the post
and comment on it to win a chance to
win two tickets to the event.
Ahead of the company's next week,
leaked certification and benchmark
listings tipped innards of a handset
dubbed Mi 4i, which appears to be a
more affordable variant of the Mi 4
flagship smartphone.
According to leaked benchmark listings ,
the Mi 4i will run Android 5.0.2 Lollipop
with possibly a new version of MIUI. It
will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core
Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at
1.65GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM.
Comparing preliminary leaked
specifications to the Mi 4 , the Mi 4i
seems to be a 'lite' variant of the original
version that is powered by a 2.5GHz
quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801
SoC with 3GB of RAM.
The tipped specifications match those of
a previously leaked Xiaomi handset
codenamed 'Ferrari', which was earlier
spotted on benchmark listings with a
4.9-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels)
display, Adreno 405 GPU, 12-megapixel
rear camera, 4.8-megapixel front camer
and 16GB of built-in storage.
Xiaomi's 2014 flagship smartphone, the
Mi 4, on Thursday received its first price
cut in India , making the smartphone Rs.
2,000 cheaper than its launch price.
Xiaomi India has already confirmed that
the global premier of Xiaomi will see CEO
and Founder Lei Jun, President and Co-
Founder Bin Lin, and VP Xiaomi Global
Hugo Barra, in attendance.
