Breaking Xiaomi Plans to Reduce and Optimize Ads

Xiaomi’s CEO and co-founder said that the company will Remove the inappropriate ads and the advertisements that ruin the user experience.

General Manager for the Internet Services of Xiaomi also said that the company is planning to Reduce the Number of Advertisements in MIUI.

The company aims to reduce and optimize advertisements on the platform and improve user experience.

But don't be Happy because Ads are not going to be totally removed. They also said to show ads that are relevant to users' interests, this means they are going to collect our data for Ads.

MIUI Experience General Manager @MIUI Xiaofan posted a letter to MIUI fans on Weibo about Ad rectification. Xiaomi Says they have Started Fixing Pesky and Vulgar Ads on MIUI.

Xiaomi claims to have already dropped a lot of advertising space it is set to revoke the space further in the next two months.
