Xiaomi Mi Max Prime With Snapdragon 652 SoC Launched in India...

Xiaomi has announced its three-day Diwali sale starting October 17, where it is expected to offer flash deals, discounts and new product launches. However, the most notable announcement is the launch of the Mi Max Prime in India during this sale period. As part of the Diwali offers, the Xiaomi Mi Max Prime will go on sale on October 17 through Mi.com for Rs. 19,999.
The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime is essentially another variant of the Mi Max that was launched in India in June this year. During the Mi Max launch, the Chinese conglomerate did announce that the Snapdragon 652 variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage will also be available soon in India. And now, the company has decided to bring it to the country during the Diwali sale, and is calling it the Xiaomi Mi Max Prime.
The only difference between Mi Max and Mi Max Prime is the processor, RAM, and internal storage. While the Mi Max is powered by a Snapdragon 650 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, the Mi Max Prime is powered by a Snapdragon 652 processor with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.
All the other specification details and dimensions remain the same. The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime sports a hybrid dual-SIM configuration, and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8. It sports a 6.44-inch full-HD (1080x1920) 342ppi display. Apart from the inbuilt storage, the Mi Max Prime also offers option to further expand memory via a microSD slot (up to 128GB).
As for the optics, there's a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), f/2.0 aperture, and LED flash. The phablet also bears a 5-megapixel front camera on board with 85-degree wide-angle view.
The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime is backed by a 4850mAh battery, which the company claims can offer up to 14 hours of video playback. It supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS with Glonass, and Wi-Fi 802.11ac with Mimo. The dimensions measure at 173.1x88.3x7.5mm and the smartphone weighs at 203 grams. It also sports an infrared emitter to act as a universal remote control, apart from an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and proximity sensor.

Xiaomi Mi Max Prime goes on sale today via mi.com, Amazon India, priced at Rs 19,999

The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime is going on sale today via mi.com, and for the first time via Amazon India. The smartphone was launched in October, but had been exclusive to Xiaomi’s own e-store. The Mi Max Prime will now be made available on the e-commerce site as part of the Amazon Great Indian sale. At the time of filing this story, the smartphone is not in stock, but is expected to be soon available for purchase. Priced at Rs 19,999, the smartphone comes in three color choices of gold, silver, and grey. But if you plan on buying it off Amazon India, you can only choose from the gold color.

As of now, there are no offers shown on Mi Max Prime’s page, however, under the sale period Amazon India is known to offer a host of discounts and cashbacks which could also bring down the cost of the Mi Max Prime. Under the Great Indian Festival, Amazon is offering additional discounts to Citibank credit or debit card users if they buy a product. While users who buy from the desktop website can avail a 10 percent discount, those who use the app are entitled to additional 15 percent discount. There are also no-cost EMI options along with some bonuses.

There is also an option for users to further boost the memory using microSD card.

In the photography department, the Mi Max Prime comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera of aperture f/2.0 along with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. Up front is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with beautify mode, 85-degrees wide-angle lens. Phablets actually doesn't make sense to everyone... There are no proper tablet options for android users. Huawei has Mediapad series which is good but not available in india... Just read somwhere that Nokia is planning to launch 18 inch tablet with top end specs.. QHD Display, Snapdragon 835 etc... I am hoping that tablet scenario improves in android ecosystem
