Xiaomi has finally launched its gargantuan Mi Max in India. With a 6.44-inch display, the Mi Max tests the boundaries of what classifies as a smartphone and blurs the lines between a smartphone and a phablet. The Xiaomi Mi Max starts from Rs 14,999 for the base 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM and Snapdragon 650 processor and will go up to Rs 19,999 for the top-of-the-line 128GB internal storage, 4GB RAM and Snapdragon 652 processor.

The overall features of the Mi Max are the same as the Redmi Note 3 . The phablet also comes with a metal unibody design with a fingerprint scanner at the rear. It is just 7.5mm thin and weighs 203 grams, which is considered very heavy for a smartphone but feels well balanced for a big phablet like the Mi Max. Let’s take a look at the features and specifications of the Mi Max.

A microSD card slot for further expansion is also available. Both the Snapdragon 652 and 650 come with Qualcomm’s Adreno 510 GPU but the two additional powerful Cortex A72 cores in the Snapdragon 652 gives it an edge in terms of performance.

Up front, there is a 5-megpaixel camera with beautify 85-degrees wide-angle selfie camera for photos and video calling.
