Xiaomi's 2014 flagship, the Mi 4, is all
set to go on sale on Tuesday. The third
flash sale for the Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB
variant will kick off at 2pm IST on
Flipkart for registered users. Registration
for the handset's sale ended on Monday.

The Chinese company, unlike previous
occasions, has stopped revealing details
about the number of Mi 4 units going on
sale in the flash sale. The company did
not provide figures of how many units
were up for sale last week or how fast
they went out of stock. This will be the
second time the 64GB variant will be
offered in India alone, without the 16GB
variant being sold alongside.

Considering that there are limited stocks
of the Mi 4 64GB, Flipkart notes that it
will limit orders to one phone per
registered email ID per sale. It's worth
pointing out that Flipkart's procedure
requires people to just add the handset
to their cart for it to be classified as 'sol
out', and people are given additional tim
to complete their purchase.

The first flash sale saw the Mi 4 64GB
model going out of stock in a minute
while the company never announced ho
fast the 16GB variant went out of stock.
In February, Xiaomi announced that the
Mi 4 16GB in India would be sold via
Flipkart without registration.

To recall, the 16GB Xiaomi Mi 4 (Review |

the 64GB Mi 4 is priced at Rs. 23,999.

The Xiaomi Mi 4 runs on Android 4.4
KitKat with the company's MIUI 6 skin o
top. It is powered by a quad-core
Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor
clocked at 2.5GHz alongside 3GB of RA
The Mi 4 sports the same 5-inch full-HD
display (1080x1920 pixels) found on th
Mi 3; although this time the company
has used a JDI OGS full lamination
display. There is a 13-megapixel rear
camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing
camera on the Xiaomi Mi 4, with both
sporting Sony's stacked CMOS sensors.
The smartphone is backed by a
3080mAh Li-ion battery.
