Emojis - those small icons implying many a great emotions in the modern world have taken over everyday conversation by storm. So much so that these emojis have not only become the
word of the year , but are also considered acceptable even in formal communication like emails and newsletters.

Officially marking July 17 as the World Emoji Day, microblogging service Twitter has released a GIF that summarises which emojis were used the most in a given month. February - the month of love - sees the maximum of double hearts, while October is for Halloween ghosts.
