Announcing the new Jetpack mobile app, now available for iOS and Android — hooray! This robust app brings all of your favorite essential Jetpack features to your mobile device. Receive important notifications, keep tabs on site activity, restore a backup if necessary, scan for malware, view valuable site stats, and access other Jetpack features you love, anytime and anywhere.

QR Post is a new Jetpack feature that automatically generates QR codes for your published posts. When it is scanned, the QR code will link visitors to your post. It’s a great way to share a path to your site out in the real world.

 
For the first time, you can customize not only which Jetpack features are loaded onto your site, but also which individual plugin you want to install. And if you use multiple Jetpack features, you can add them seamlessly within a single, familiar interface. Install only the features you need while minimizing plugin overhead: the best of both worlds.

We’ve launched six individual plugins for our most popular features, and will continue to add more throughout 2022.

 
Twitter decided, on short notice, to dramatically change the terms and pricing of the Twitter API. We have attempted to work with Twitter in good faith to negotiate new terms, but we have not been able to reach an agreement. As a result, the Twitter connection on Jetpack Social will cease to work, and your blog posts will no longer be auto-shared to Twitter.
