India’s second largest telco, Vodafone India on Friday said that it will be launching its 4G service in Hisar. The 4G services will be rolled out across Haryana over the next few months, the telco said in a statement. The company is offering special data offers for customers where they can avail 20 GB data at Rs 999.

Vodafone will also be offering unlimited local Vodafone to Vodafone calls to customers buying 1 GB and above data packs, which is a limited period offer. Customers opting for Vodafone 4G RED plan will be able to avail double data offer. 4G subscribers will also get 3 months free access to Vodafone Play.

“Vodafone SuperNet 4G service in Haryana is built on a strong fibre backhaul, and is supported by its superfast 3G services on a new and modern network,” said Vodafone. Revealing plans of the second phase, the company said that its 4G services will soon also be available in 1000 towns across the country by end of the year. The telco has invested Rs 114 Crores in 2015-16 to expand and modernize its network.

“Haryana is a strong leadership market for Vodafone India and as the leading telecom service provider, our over 5.5 million customers have a lot to look forward to. Beginning with key business and residential corridors of Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak & Hisar,” said Mohit Narru, Business Head–Haryana, Vodafone India.

“4G has the potential to revolutionize the mobile experience through powerful innovation that impacts how we work and live. Vodafone’s global expertise and experience of launching 4G across 20 countries gives us a better understanding of this technology and the needs of the 4G customer,” he added.

Vodafone will be doing door-step delivery of SIMs for 4G postpaid connections.
