Vodafone rolls out 4G service in Palwal

Vodafone India on Tuesday rolled out its SuperNet 4G service in Palwal and will be making available its 4G services across Haryana in coming months, the company said in a statement. The telco is offering data packs starting from Rs 12 for 45 MB.

Vodafone is offering free upgrade to 4G for customers along with free 4G SIM. The telco will allow 4G international roaming across 25 countries including UK, US, UAE, Singapore and Canada and will be adding more countries.

With the launch, the company has introduced a host of offers for its customers where it’s offering double data for selective data packs. Customers buying greater than 1GB packs will get twice the data allowance and unlimited local Vodafone to Vodafone Calls, the telco revealed.

Vodafone SuperNet 4G service in Haryana is built on 1800 MHz band having a strong fibre backhaul, the company said.

“Haryana is a strong leadership market for Vodafone India and as the leading telecom service provider, our over 5.5 million customers have a lot to look forward to. Beginning with key business and residential corridors of Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak,Hisar, Bhiwani, Bahadurgarh, Jind Rewari & Palwal.

Vodafone is now expanding its services across Palwal and the entire state in a phased manner. Vodafone’s global expertise and experience of launching 4G across 20 countries gives us a better understanding of this technology and the needs of the 4G customer. We assure our customers to provide the best of services in Palwal (Haryana) from today onwards.” said Mohit Narru Business Head–Haryana, Vodafone India.

Additionally, the company has revealed its future plans stating that in the second phase of launch, Vodafone SuperNet 4G services will be available in 1000 towns across the country by end of the year.

The telco stated that the nine circles of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Karnataka, Kerala, Haryana, Gujarat, UP (E) and West Bengal, contribute to under 70% of its data revenues
