Chinese handset manufacturer Vivo on Wednesday unveiled three new Android smartphones, the X9, X9 Plus, and Xplay6 in its homeland.
The Vivo X9 has been priced at CNY 2,798 (approximately Rs. 28,000) for the 64GB model and the 128GB model is priced at CNY 2,998 (approximately Rs. 30,000) - both variants are available to buy. Unfortunately, the Chinese company has not revealed pricing for the Vivo X9 Plus as of now. Vivo Xplay6, on the other hand, has been priced at CNY 4,498 (approximately Rs. 44,500) and is now available to pre-order in China. The Vivo X9, X9 Plus, and Xplay6 will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colours.
The highlight of the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus smartphones is that they sport dual front-facing cameras. Both the handsets feature a 20-megapixel camera with Sony IMX376 sensor and f/2.0 aperture at the front alongside an 8-megapixel camera. Both the phones also pack a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus).
For specifications, the Vivo X9 features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) clocked at 2GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 (MSM8976 Pro) processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with 6GB of RAM. The Vivo X9 Plus will be available in just 128GB storage model.
