Mumbai: VIVO Pro Kabaddi League, India’s biggest domestic sporting league, gears up for yet another season of thrilling action, with the announcement of the “Elite Retained Players”. The League today announced the players who would continue their association with their respective franchises for VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season VI starting 19th October, 2018. Marking the first milestone for season VI, a total of 21 players from Season V were retained by their respective franchises. The “Elite Player Retention” framework is a key constituent to build team continuity for the longer term and the franchises were thus encouraged to retain key players of their choosing for the upcoming season.

Star to broadcast PKL 6 across six channels in five languages

Star India will broadcast Pro Kabaddi season 6 across Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 2, free to air (FTA) channel Star Sports First, Star Sports 1 Tamil besides regional channel Star Suvarna Plus (Kannada) and Star Maa Gold (Telugu). The event will also be live streamed on Hotstar.

Pro Kabaddi S6 will be held from 7 October to 5 January 2019. The matches will be aired from 7:30 pm onwards.
