Put into bat first in Banagalore, RCB blew Gujarat Lions away with a splendid partnership between Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. While the former played more of an anchor role at the start, he cut loose towards the end to bring his third IPL 2016 hundred, becoming the first ever player to hit three tons in the same season.
