Videocon on Tuesday launched its
VA81M tablet in India priced at a budget
Rs. 4,900. The voice-calling tablet is
available to buy via e-commerce
websites.

SIM supporting device, which runs
Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS out-of-the-box.
The tablet features a 7-inch HD
(720x1280 pixels) resolution display an
is powered by a dual-core (unspecified)
processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed
with 512MB of RAM.
The tablet houses a 2-megapixel rear
camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing
camera. The 4GB of inbuilt storage can
also be expanded via a microSD card (u
to 32GB). On the connectivity front, the
Videocon VA81M includes 3G, Bluetooth
4.0, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n
and USB 2.0. Measuring
188.1x108.2x10.3mm, the tablet is
backed by a 3000mAh battery, which is
rated to deliver up to 96 hours of standb
time and up to 8 hours of talk-time.
The tablet comes preloaded with V-Safe
app, which is designed for emergency
purposes to contact family and friends,
and also comes with V-Secure antivirus
app, V-Safe and Opera Mini.
