Videocon has launched two new smartphones, the Infinium Z40Q Star and Infinium Z50Q Star, priced at Rs. 4,499 and Rs. 5,999 respectively. While there are no official availability details for the Videocon Infinium Z40Q Star and Videocon Infinium Z50Q Star, we expect that the company will announce them in the coming days. Notably, the Infinium Z50Q Star was earlier this month officially listed on the company's site without pricing and availability details.

The Videocon Infinium Z40Q Star features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The dual-SIM based handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor alongside 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage that's further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). There is a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. It is backed by a 1500mAh battery.

The Videocon Infinium Z50Q Star, on the other hand, comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It features 4GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 5-megapixel rear camera while also houses a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed by a 2000mAh battery with no word on talk time and standby time. It supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, and Micro-USB connectivity options. The Android 4.4 KitKat-based Videocon Infinium Z50Q Star will be available in White, Red and Blue colours.
