Videocon Mobiles Phones Division on Wednesday launched its latest budget Android smartphone device – Videocon A24, priced at Rs 4,699.
Videocon A24 runs on the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor and has 256 MB RAM.
The 4'' device has a 3.2MP rear camera and and 0.3 MP front camera. The device has a 1450 mAh battery.
The smartphone also has several other features including dual SIM, Wi-Fi, GPRS Edge and preloaded apps. The Videocon A24 is available in White Chrome and Black colour casings
The smartphone is also enabled with company's 'V-Store', which enables one to access favourite apps, including games, mail, social networking and new channels.
Commenting on the launch, Khalid Zamir, Head Product Planning & Development, Videocon Mobile Phones Division said, "With the Videocon A24, we seek to answer to the needs of young consumers and first-time users, who are looking to migrate from a feature phone and immerse themselves in the exciting world of smartphones."
