Vi 5G is NSA and their LTE infra is sh#t in some places. That's why the pathetic speeds
5G will be live in couple of days for Mumbai. They have covered a lot of sites. Let's see real world performance. Whatever is shared above is 4G only speeds. Just fake 5G icon on BBK branded devices.

Airtel with NSA technology is able to deliver 1.4Gbps in Gurgaon at many places at non peak times.

When I saw 1295 near Download, I was very happy, then I saw 2269 as UpLoad, which is impossible, even if GOD made Network Infra for them using just 50MHz of C-Band spectrum. Later I saw the words Ping and ms, then I was like "WHAT?". Actually BSNL 4G is much better than this, imho.

Downfall of Voda started when they said, "India is NOT ready for 4G". But now it looks like, they themselves are not ready for 5G.

Ok. Let's wait for a couple of weeks to settle down.
It's been almost 15 to 20 days I think they started 5g in mumbai but still no improvement only during night time you can say after 00:30am you get download speed around download 300mpbs and 17mbps upload

Let's wait for a couple of weeks before judging yourself. Jio is crawling at 200-250Mbps on another average speeds(mostly due to Airtel NSA technology and 300GB hard cap). Airtel 4G+ was superb in Vi leadership circles, now at 100Mbps on 5G and 40-60Mbps on 4G. Vi 4G is fastest and no match for Jio and Airtel. Airtel 4G experience has deteriorated a lot after 2021 auction. Band 3 20Mhz used to touch 200Mbps and now just 40-60Mbps. Even though I don't like Samsung as a gear vendor choice for Jio 4G, Jio should have made band 3 20Mhz PAN India before 5G rollout, somehow. 4*4MIMO on band 3 would have sky rocketed Jio in another league. Airtel+Vi still has upper hand due to their strongest band 3 spectrum portfolio. But again that will change after 2026, where Airtel/Vi spectrum in band 3 will expire. Let's see. Vi wants to surrender that spectrum and get back to band 41 40Mhz contiguous spectrum. Let's see. Band 41 will need immense density. Vi was never in a position to do that. It's interesting couple of years for BSNL+Vi vs Jio(I don't consider Airtel part of Jio duopoly even now). Airtel is ARPU mode. Their CEOs are constant mode of increasing tariffs. This was valid in 2019-2021. Not anymore.

Airtel Ericsson build out will take couple of years I believe. Airtel still have coverage gaps as @Kunal mentioned. Yesterday I couldn't contact my two partners who are in rural areas of Maharashtra. Their primary and secondary numbers are on Airtel. Where as BSNL 4G worked in those areas with 10-20Mbps constant throughout speed.
