In a big blow to South Africa, Vernon
Philander, their fast bowler, has been
ruled out of the first two Tests against
England due to the ankle injury he
suffered during the Test series in India.
Vernon Philander suffered a freak
injury two days prior to the second

Bengaluru on November 14 and was
ruled out of the remainder of the Test
