However, the tensed match became fatal for an elderly person from Uttar Pradesh. According to a Hindusthan Times report, a person from Bistuali village in Gorakhpur died from cardiac failure during the fag end of the tensed encounter. Om Prakash Sharma, who used to run a grocery store earlier complained of severe chest pain during the last over, just as Mushfiqur slammed couple of boundaries off Pandya. India soon miraculously won the match but sadly Sharma passed away.
