I have an Airtel eSIM and use it whenever I go to India. However, I live in the USA. I have no issues receiving SMSes for OTP etc. on my registered Airtel number in the USA. I had to make a call from my registered Airtel number to a financial entity for verification purposes. I purchased an international roaming pack . I try to make a call from my Google Pixel 7 with my Airtel SIM to the India number and the call ends immediately without any message or anything just flat out ends. I filed a complaint with Airtel for support and they give me a ticket number and I check back a few hours later the ticket is closed. I still can't make calls to India. There is no reason given as to why the ticket was closed. I call the customer support number and they say the reason on the ticket is N/A. The support agent gives me no idea about how the ticket was resolved. I emailed 121@airtel and they didn't reply back to my last mail. How do I reach the higher ups. Is this a problem with my eSIM?

Does it happen only when u dial financial entity or even if you dial any other indian number?

I figured out what the issue was. Apparently the Airtel support team said that they had to enable VoLTE on my account. My APN was set up to make calls over 5G. I setup a new APN of the following parameters that is valid for ATT which is the airtel partner in California, USA but with respect to the "Preferred Network Type" I set it to 3G. Not sure if setting up the new APN below is necessary you can probably just set the old APN to 3G also and it will work.
