Twitter today announced improvements to its logged out home page, bringing visitors a sneak peek of trending stories and discussions through visible tweets from across the globe.
The new home timeline is visible in 23 countries, including India, to users visiting Twitter's homepage on their mobile device. Before today, you could see individual tweets but it was hard to discover stories and conversations happening on Twitter without signing in. Now, you can check out a news story as it unfolds, even before you sign in. Twitter is also expanding its refreshed twitter.com homepage on web, which is already available in the US and Japan, to every one of the other 21 countries from the list. Starting today, anyone can explore and discover different topics and stories as they occur, including some that are tailored just for them based on their location and activity on Twitter.
There's even a search bar and a list of trending topics, everything on the home page minus your ability to actually tweet or like anything.
