I was watching Rang De Basanti on UTV HD. I realized that audio and video doesn't sync during movie. But during ads its fine. I googled and found that TV channels are nowadays speeding up content. Why should we pay to have speed up content? Instead of improving the quality of broadcasting. It is getting pathetic day by day. I am sharing a link where a Twitter user shared videos of TV channels speeding up content. I think MIB should seriously take strict against towards these channels. Source

@DJ Roy bro, can you please shift 'What's your opinion on' to last! By doing this thread title would be more visible.
Edit: BTW, it brings the question (already asked long ago), where's the rule of maximum allowable time for ads in a program? Did any authority ever enquired the violation? Or the rule is shelved?

Is it for ads ?? I don't thinks its new .TV channels broadcast in 25-30 Fps where the content available on net is 23.999 FPS. I have a 2007 recorded Hungama TV show a its in around 28 fps.

I don't care about FPS. But I do care about unsynced audio and video.

Actually its may not be for ads.

The power supply in India is 50 Hz (rotation speed of generator coils in Indian power houses) as for video and audio PAL format is used here which is based on 25 FPS which means around 4-5% more speed than NTSC.

The power supply in Western Countries is 60 Hz( rotation speed of generator coils in their power houses) as NTSC is used there which is based on 23 FPS which is around 4-5% slower than PAL. So obviously it will take more time than PAL.

Now if its around 15 % then may be its intentionally.

As i said in my earlier post if they are making it around 15% faster then it may be intentionally.
